On Swede Hill, the Korvquist family proudly holds onto its Scandinavian traditions. Across town in Brooklyn Square, the loud, loving Pepperoni family keeps its Italian heritage alive. Everybody gets along just fine… as long as nobody crosses the line. Then Olga Korvquist meets Tony Pepperoni. What follows is a small-town Romeo and Juliet story filled with meddling relatives, neighborhood gossip, Swedish folk traditions, Italian Sunday dinners, misunderstandings, romance, and plenty of music and laughs.
